Tara was gone last night with Region sports so Kennedy was quick to let me know how she felt about her absence.
Kennedy, Do you want to play with your dolls?
I want Mommy.
What if we watch Little People?
I want Mama.
I know. What if we play with Alex?
I want Mommy.
Ok, I understand. She won't be home for a while. Should we listen to some music?
I want Mom.
I want Mom too.

When my kids say "I want mommy" I just reply with "So do I". Sometimes I say "No one wants her here more than I do." Or when they all clamor I say lets all chant, "We want mommy, we want mommy!"
