Jason just called to let me know that the 31st Ward was vandalized and set on fire last night. What a tragedy! Tara and I attended that Ward from 1997-2001 and really loved the style of that old building. The ward was over 100 years old; sure the building had been remodeled several times, but the character was still there. The only good thing to come from the story is the kids responsible were caught by neighbors. I sure hope they gave them the laying on of hands before the cops arrived!
