Friday night we down to Utah County in the rain, little did we know the scene we'd awake to yesterday morning. The entire yard was covered in white. I guess by the time it ended we had about 6 inches of freshly fallen snow; our first real storm of the season. It was great! Since it was a Saturday we spent a good part of the morning watching the snow fall and then it was time to put on our clothes and play.
At first Alex wasn't sure what to make of the cold powder. He actually started to cry as we headed outside. As soon as we started playing though he warmed up to the cold snow. Kennedy had a great time! We made snow angels and threw the heavy snow at one another. I can't think of a better way to spend an hour with your kids.
The only down side came after the play, when the driveway still needed to be cleared!
