Our Newest Trip

Last weekend we snuck down South to visit my parents and to get away for a much needed vacation (it didn't hurt that we missed the big storm, too). It was a jam packed four days, oh wait, we really don't do a whole lot while we're in New Harmony. A trip to the movies in Hurricane, a stop in Leeds for breakfast at the Wagon Wheel, a jaunt down to St. George to play on the swings, and a whole lot of time playing at Nana and Papa's house.

We always enjoy the trip and it was great this time because my parents haven't seen Dylan for over a month. He's like a completely different kid since the last time they held him. Alex and Kennedy really liked showing off their new brother, but I think they liked the four-wheeler even more. I can't tell you how many times I went around the block with both of them.

As part of our trip we had our annual outdoor hot dog roast, and we even spotted some wild life. Well, if you can call turkeys wild. Still, it was a fun long weekend and we're glad we were able to spend some time with family.
