In Memoriam

We lost a member of the family over the weekend. There was a quick funeral. No words were said, but much emotion was felt. Ariel the fish was gone - in a swirl.

I'm actually surprised that she lasted as long as she did. The fish lived almost two years. It was great for Kennedy to take care of her fish, even if Tara and I spent more time feeding and cleaning Ariel. Ariel was a good lesson in life and an even better teacher in death. We had a good chat with Dede about why things die. I know Kennedy misses her fish and for that I say - So long Ariel.
