So, guess who's finally waking up. It has been so much fun watching Alex develop over the past month. He is becoming alert to his surroundings and is very interested in what's going on. I love watching Alex and Kennedy interact with one another. Kennedy still hasn't figured out that Alex really is a little baby and that he can't eat crackers or play with a doll yet. It's fun to see her offer her stuff to him, even if he can't use any of it. She really loves her little brother and is constantly saying, "Hey there big guy" as she gives him a kiss.
As Alex is growing up one of my favorite things about him is his wonderful little smile. He is such a happy boy and it melts your heart to watch him grin from ear to ear. Tara and I have just marveled at how pleasant is personality is. He rarely freaks out, unless there's a real problem. Most of the time he's content just to hang out and snuggle with the person holding him. What a fun kid!
